1702 Hawthorn Rd. Wildwood Park Lee & Helena Ninde House -c1925

The two story wood structure is notable as the home of Lee Ninde, the developer of Wildwood Park.  Its entrance is centered and surrounded with fluted columns and pilasters, topped with fluted columns and pilasters, topped with a decorative fanlight.  In typical Colonial Revival style, parts of multi-pane windows with louvered shutter add symmetry, while a first floor screened sun room reaches to connect the indoors with the out.  The balustrades above the sun room and front entry carry the vertical  lines across the facade for an added touch of Colonial continuity.

Description and picture of house has been taken from the brochure of Wildwood Park Home and Garden Tour June 16, 2012
Wildwood Builders/Lee Ninde built this home for his second wife Helena Ninde. Notice the similarity between the last house Joel and Lee lived in until her death.
